LTO does not recognize Van der Tak's reproof, seems hoax
LTO Noord does not recognize a reprimand that would come from 9 of the 12 regional departments and addressed to national chairman Sjaak van der Tak. LTO has announced this after conducting an investigation in its own circle. The organization was unable to locate the sender of the message.
In the offending report, Van der Tak is accused of a 'changeable and unreliable course' in the talks with the government and he is called upon to stop the consultations. In the document, Van der Tak is given a swaying arrangement in a chronological overview of 6 points.
In response, LTO Noord has issued a statement stating the following: A PDF document is currently circulating in app groups entitled 'Statement LTO Noord'. This document supposedly comes from '9 regional divisions of LTO Noord'. This document does not originate from departments of LTO Noord. None of our departments is the sender. It is also not in line with the views of our departments in terms of content.
LTO Noord has organized a members webinar for this Monday evening (8 August) about last Friday's exploratory conversation with the cabinet. This document will also be briefly discussed there. There is ample space for questions. The webinar starts at 20.00 p.m. Van der Tak is not currently consulting with Remkes or the cabinet. On Friday, after the conversation with Johan Remkes and the cabinet, he had a new conversation with the lobby group Regie op Ruimte, which included Frans Keurentjes, Cees Veerman and Jan Willem Erisman. This would be about coordination of agendas and plans.
