Just like FDF, Agractie only wants permitted actions
Farmers' organization Agractie only wants to carry out protest actions in the coming period that remain within the framework of the law. That is different from what a number of national media report. Agractie is therefore close to the position of the Farmers Defense Force (FDF).
This is reported by foreman Bart Kemp. The organizations, just like LTO, will not be consulted with Johan Remkes, a spokesperson confirms. The 'pure' agricultural organizations maintain their position that they only want to talk to the cabinet if a number of pain points are removed, such as the Critical Deposition Value (KDW), and there is no switch from deposition to emission. Later this week, new coordination consultations will take place between the aforementioned agricultural organizations in order to maintain the agreed line.
Not all frogs in one wheelbarrow
Yet the organizations also claim their own space. “We do what our members ask of us,” Kemp says. "There's no such thing as one wheelbarrow with all the frogs in it." For example, Agractie also has its own line with Rutte, if necessary, says Kemp. Yet for him the basic conditions of the farmers are not up for discussion. The cabinet must first move, then talk. Sieta van Keimpema, spokesperson for the FDF, also strongly criticizes Rabobank, which she believes supports the government's efforts through its financing policy. According to Van Keimpema, it can also lead to farmers looking for alternative ways of business financing.
Predictable outcome consultation Remkes
Kemp considers the consultation that Remkes is conducting this week with other agricultural organizations irrelevant and 'with a predictable outcome'. "There are maybe 100 organizations sitting around the table there." According to him, they do not represent agriculture.
