The German DMK and subsidiary DOC Kaas are increasing the monthly advance milk price for September. From Hoogeveen this time not more than €3,00 extra, but despite a slightly cooled market still €1,07 per 100 kilos.
This brings the basic milk price according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator works out at €62,74 per 100 kilos. With the latest increase, DOC Kaas maintains an advantage over the two major cooperative competitors from Amersfoort and Arhus.
Most DOC members receive a higher milk price, because in addition to an allowance for grazing, they also receive a Vlog allowance. This adds €2,75 to the basic milk price, resulting in a total of €65,49 per 100 kilos.
Vlog allowance
DOC Kaas is one of the few processors in the Netherlands that gives all members the opportunity to supply Vlog milk. At Cono Kaasmakers, all members are obliged to supply Vlog milk. This is not necessary with DOC.
DOC members receive an average basic milk price of €52,34 per 100 kilos until September. The maximum milk price over this period amounts to an average of €55,09.
