A-ware remains in the lead in Belgium with stable price

Dairy company Royal A-ware keeps the milk price in Belgium stable for the third month in a row. Nevertheless, the company continues to pay the highest milk price among the large Belgian processors for the time being.

A-ware pays a standard milk price of €60,00 per 100 litres. This is the legal price in Belgium, the milk price at real components and a volume of 1,3 million liters per year is €63,28. Meadow milk suppliers receive €64,28 per 100 litres.

Without a pasture supplement, A-ware pays €2,21 per 100 liters more than FrieslandCampina pays its suppliers. Arla is even further ahead, according to the Belgian Milk Price Comparator van Boerenbusiness. 

Milcobel is expected to publish the milk price for September in one and a half weeks. Laiterie des Ardennes has yet to determine the milk price for August.
Next month, dairy farmers are said to be switching again to both A-ware and Arla in Belgium. Numbers have not yet been announced.
