Dairy company Royal A-ware keeps all milk prices the same for the month of September. This applies to both conventional and organic milk prices. It has also kept the September price the same in Belgium. The company is slowing down in an uncertain market.
As in August, A-ware pays a basic current milk price of €60,07 per 100 kilos (excluding VAT and for an annual delivery of 1 million kilos). The meadow milk price remains €61,32 and the maximum price €66,32 per 100 kilos.
This means that it still pays the highest milk price for the month, but surprisingly enough, DOC Kaas comes relatively close, with a maximum milk price of €65,49 per 100 kilos, even ahead of FrieslandCampina with the Planet Proof surcharge, according to the results. the Boerenbusiness milk price comparator.
The basic milk price is considerably lower than that.
On average over the first 9 months of this year, A-ware pays a maximum milk price (including Albert Heijn surcharge) of €58,86 per 100 kilos. FrieslandCampina pays out a maximum of €56,45 and DOC Kaas €55,09.
The average basic milk price of these 3 companies over the same period is successively €51,95, 52,25 and €52,34 per 100 kilos.
However, with the weighted average milk price, the WP, A-ware maintains a steady lead over FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price.
The dairy manufacturer from Heerenveen also maintains the organic milk price at the same level as in August. This means it occupies an intermediate position between FrieslandCampina and Eko-Holland on the one hand and Arla on the other, according to the Boerenbusiness organic milk price comparator.
A-ware also succeeds in keeping the organic milk price at a clear distance above the conventional milk price. Not all processors are currently able to do this.
