FrieslandCampina raises guaranteed price
FrieslandCampina is increasing the guaranteed price for October by another euro. The organic guaranteed price is increased by much more. According to FrieslandCampina, this mainly concerns corrections that cause prices to rise.

With the latest increase, the guaranteed price for October amounts to €62,25 per 100 kilos. The increase mainly takes place via the protein price. Based on FrieslandCampina's announcement, the increase is solely the result of a correction of competitors' previously estimated prices that were too low. "It is expected that reference prices will increase slightly," the company reports.
According to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator FrieslandCampina's basic milk price for October amounts to €61,48 per 100 kilos. The meadow milk price is €62,98, while the maximum milk price (including PlanetProof surcharge) is €66,18 per 100 kilos. Other companies in the milk price comparator have not yet announced the October price.
The organic guaranteed price will be increased by €2,75 to €65,50 per 100 kilos. This increase does not appear to be solely the result of a correction. FrieslandCampina reports that this price 'includes a positive correction as a result of higher reference prices for organic farm milk in the recent period'. Here too, reference prices are expected to rise slightly in the near future.
Due to the sharp increase in the organic milk price, FrieslandCampina's price in the organic milk price comparator has skyrocketed Boerenbusiness to a provisional record of €69,43 per 100 kilos.
