Eko-Holland raises October milk price by euro
Eko-Holland increases the advance milk price for October by €1,00 per 100 kilos. This raises the price slightly more than Arla, but considerably less than FrieslandCampina, which raised €2,76.

With an annual supply of 1 million kilos excluding VAT, Eko-Holland pays €66,05 per 100 kilos (uncorrected for seasonal surcharges). That is €3,43 less than Arla pays, but more than the €65,43 that FrieslandCampina pays (also excluding the seasonal allowance). Including the seasonal allowance, FrieslandCanpina pays €69,43 per 100 kilos, as is also apparent in the Boerenbusiness Organic Milk Price Comparator. Eko-Holland has a seasonal supplement for October of €3,00 per 100 kilos, which would bring the price to €69,05 per 100 kilos, but Eko-Holland balances the supplements and deductions over the year and counts on the end pass.
The prices for organic milk still remain higher than the usual milk prices, but the differences are and remain very small.
At Eko-Holland, the milk price for organic milk is also higher in October than the price for the usually more expensive biodynamic milk. The advance price for this type of milk for October is €65,20 per 100 kilos, which is 80 cents less than for 'normal' organic milk.
