Leerdammer drops space with equal price
Cheese maker Lactalis Leerdammer keeps the milk price for October the same as for September. This means that the company is losing space compared to FrieslandCampina, which did increase the October price.

With a basic milk price of €60,45 per 100 kilos, Lactalis Leerdammer remains 15 cents per 100 kilos above Arla. DOC Cheese will continue to top the list for October for the time being, according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator.
Until October, Leerdammer pays an average basic milk price of €52,80 per 100 kilos. The maximum milk price, including all surcharges, amounts to €56,05 per 100 kilos.
This means that the cheesemaker is somewhere between FrieslandCampina and DOC cheese in terms of payout. Until October, FrieslandCampina will pay a basic (advance) price of €53,19 per 100 kilos and a maximum (advance) price of €56,45. In terms of basic advance, DOC Cheese amounts to €53,38 per 100 kilos and a maximum of €55,09 per 100 kilos.
