A-ware gives October price a firm push

After a month with equal milk prices, Royal A-ware is once again implementing a substantial milk price increase. The price for conventional milk will be increased by €1,50, that for organic milk by €2,00 per 100 kilos.

A-ware itself reports a price of almost €68,00 per 100 kilos for the top milk flow, the Better-for milk from Albert Heijn, €67,93 to be precise. More than €6,00 ​​below this is the traditional milk flow with a price of €61,84. The weighted average milk price, the WP, amounts to €64,35.

The organic milk price goes to €70,17 per 100 kilos. The prices apply to the average volume volume of all dairy farmers in the relevant milk flow of 2021, the company reports.

According to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator the basic milk price of Royal A-ware is 5 cents per 100 kilos above that of FrieslandCampina, but €1,21 below that of DOC Kaas.

Better ahead and Zaanse Hoeve both in the lead
With the Beter-voor milk price, A-ware once again scores the highest (common) milk price in the Netherlands. The price for Zaanse Hoeve milk is €2,00 per 100 kilos lower, making it about 40 cents below the price for Planet Proof milk from FrieslandCampina.

Stably the highest in Belgium
For Belgium, A-ware keeps the milk price the same for the fourth month in a row. At the Belgian legal levels, this means a milk price of €60,00 per 100 liters. At real contents and an annual delivery of 1,3 million liters, this amounts to an actual milk price paid of €63,28 per 100 liters. Despite the stable payment, this still appears to be the highest milk price of all major processors there.
