Do you pay a good price for the purchase of concentrates, diesel oil, contract work or other supplies within your company? Or do you receive the right price for calves, land rental or other services? Questions that concern many agricultural entrepreneurs in the sector. How practical is it to be able to directly compare a purchase or sale with previous transactions in the market?
What started four months ago as a low-threshold initiative to make markets more transparent has now grown into a popular free service with more than 2.300 registrations. DCA's TransactionApp appears to meet a great need for more information about transactions made by fellow entrepreneurs. It offers more insight and guidance to weigh a bid/quote at a possible purchase and/or sale moment. With the introduction of the TransactionApp an objective and current picture is sketched of the transactions in the market and this results in a stronger negotiating position within your own company and more tools to make the right decision.
How does it work?
After you have signed up for free, you will receive a welcome message and you will be informed daily via WhatsApp with the latest purchase or sales transactions from colleagues. Transactions about feed purchase, diesel, contract work, fertilizer, etc. are shared. It is also possible to pass on transactions yourself. Every day several transactions come in in different categories.
See below an example of such a WhatsApp message with the latest transactions:
