Guaranteed price remains the same at FrieslandCampina
FrieslandCampina keeps the guaranteed price for regular milk for November equal to that of the previous month. The November price does include a positive correction due to better-than-expected reference prices at competitors. In the meantime, the organic guaranteed price is going down.

Without a positive correction for the higher than expected milk price from competitors, the prevailing guaranteed price would have been lower. This now remains stable at €62,25 per 100 kilos. FrieslandCampina expects the average milk price of the reference companies to remain stable in the coming month.
Negative correction
The organic guaranteed price for November will be reduced by 75 cents per 100 kilos compared to October and amounts to €64,75. This reduction includes a negative correction due to overestimated reference prices at competitors in recent times. It is expected that, as in the conventional sector, reference prices for organic milk will remain stable.
It is striking that FrieslandCampina's basic milk price remains 40 cents per 100 kilos below that of Arla with the latest step, according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator.
Arla increased the milk price for November by almost €1,60 per 100 kilos.
With organic milk, FrieslandCampina did exactly the opposite of what Arla did. The people of Amersfoort reduced instead of increasing.
