Vreugdenhil gives October milk price a small injection again
Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods is increasing the milk price for October a little further. The company pays a 40 cents higher price for conventional milk, for organic milk the company takes a much bigger step up.

It is striking that most organic milk prices for the month of October are between €69,00 and €69,50 per 100 kilos, according to the Boerenbusiness Organic Milk Price Comparator. Vreugdenhil pays out €69,35 per 100 kilos, which is €2,76 more than for the previous month.
In terms of the current milk price, Vreugdenhil is by far the best payer in October when it comes to both the basic milk price (€64,57) and the meadow milk price (66,07), according to the Boerenbusiness (common) Milk price comparator. At the maximum level, the company must outpace Royal A-ware and FrieslandCampina. With their premiums for the 'Better for' line (Albert Heijn milk) and PlanetProof, they still exceed the Vreugdenhil price, as in the case of PlanetProof milk, but with a difference of 11 cents per 100 kilos. .
For the first ten months of 2022, Vreugdenhil sets an average basic milk price of €55,91 per 100 kilos. The maximum amount paid is €57,41. For comparison: FrieslandCampina pays an average basic milk price of €49,50 and a maximum of €53,70 per 100 kilos over the same period.
These prices are calculated for an annual supply of 1 million kilos, excluding VAT and after deduction of a 5 cent contribution for ZuivelNL. Standard levels of 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein are also maintained.
