Arla keeps milk price the same for the last month of 2022
Arla Foods keeps the milk price for the month of December the same as for November. With this, the company also sets a basic milk price for the entire year that is more than 40% higher than in 2021.

The basic milk price for December amounts to €61,88 per 100 kilos of milk, according to the data Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. A year earlier that was still €42,36 per 100 kilos.
Arla will pay an advance milk price of €2022 per 52,75 kilos for the entire year of 100. The maximum milk price is €55,76. This is the basic milk price at Dutch standard contents, excluding VAT and for an annual supply of 1 million kilos. The average basic milk price for 2021 was still €37,16 per 100 kilos.
Last year, a supplementary payment of €1,62 per 100 kilos was made on top of the advance price. This year - for the first time - a partial supplementary payment has already been paid. That was in August, during the presentation of the half-year results. At that time, Arla members already received an initial additional payment of €1,00 per 100 kilos. A residual additional payment will follow when the figures for the entire year of 2022 are presented.
