Royal A-ware keeps the milk price in December the same as in November. With the Beter voor line, an average annual price of more than €60,00 is therefore paid. The organic milk price is also kept the same.
For December, the basic milk price remains at €62,52 per 100 kilos, while the meadow milk price and the maximum milk price successively amount to €63,77 and €68,77 per 100 kilos. See also the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator.
This brings the annual average for the basic milk price to €54,52 per 100 kilos. That is 10 cents more than the basic advance price of FrieslandCampina and 69 cents above that of Arla, but 60 cents below the advance price of DOC Kaas.
Thanks to a maximum bonus of €6,25 per 100 kilos, the A-ware suppliers who participate in Albert Heijn's Beter voor program receive a record milk price for the entire year of €60,77 per 100 kilos.
This applies to an annual supply of 1 million kilos, to Dutch standard fat and protein contents and after deduction of 5 cents per 100 kilos of contribution for ZuivelNL. This concerns the price excluding VAT.
Organic average around €63,55
The organic milk price comes according to the comparison of Boerenbusiness works out at €70,42 per 100 kilos. On average over the entire year, an advance price of €63,55 per 100 kilos is calculated. This is €1,36 less than what Arla pays out as an advance and €2,98 more than what FrieslandCampina pays out.
Milk price in Belgium down
In Belgium, A-ware reduces the milk price for December by €2,50 per 100 liters to a milk price with legal contents of 3,4% protein and 4,2% fat to €57,50. This corresponds to a price at real contents of €60,71 per 100 liters. This means that A-ware falls below the payout prices of FrieslandCampina and Arla in Belgium. Yet, on an annual basis, it generously pays the highest milk price.
Viewed over the entire year, A-ware's milk price amounts to €56,89 per 100 liters, while FrieslandCampina and Arla pay successively €55,50 and €53,91 per 100 liters. That does not include additional payment.
