The average milk price of the 7 largest processors in the Netherlands was 52 cents per 100 kilos higher in November than in October. This means that the average increase on a monthly basis is almost the same as in the previous month.
The average basic milk price for November was calculated according to the comparison Boerenbusiness to €61,56 per 100 kilos, compared to €61,04 on average in October. This does not include any additional payment. The average meadow milk price in November was €63,06, compared to €62,54 in October. This pasture milk price is very close to the average milk price received in the Netherlands, because the vast majority of dairy farmers practice pasture grazing. The Dutch standard contents of 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein must be adhered to.

Top segment
In the top segment, including all feasible surcharges for Vlog, Planet Proof and Albert Heijn electricity, the average milk price increased from €64,77 to €65,29 per 100 kilos. The highest milk price of almost €69,00 per 100 kilos was for the farmers participating in the 'Better for Milk Flow' (Albert Heijn) of A-ware. About €2,20 below this, DOC Cheese has an average milk price of €66,57 per 100 kilos.
It is remarkable that this cooperative pays more than FrieslandCampina with its Planet Proof milk flow. This is partly because parent company DMK (like most other German dairy companies) pays a relatively strong milk price compared to Dutch dairy. This is also evident from the international milk price comparison of the EMB and ZuivelNL.
Organic barely remains above conventional
The (advance) prices paid for organic milk are now only slightly higher than those for conventional milk. Especially when compared with the top milk flows at conventional. In October the average organic milk price (including Eko-Holland) was €68,75 per 100 kilos, in November it was €69,10 per 100 kilos.
