Voergroep Zuid takes over Brabant feed company

Veevoeder van der Steijn from Deurne will become part of Voergroep Zuid in 2023. In its own words, this will strengthen the southern feed cooperative's position in the feed market for beef cattle and will make it the market leader in the rosé calf sector in the southern Netherlands.

The takeover is in line with the strategic vision of Voergroep Zuid. The production of beef cattle feed at Voergroep Zuid has grown on its own in recent years," says General Manager Ronald van de Ven of Voergroep Zuid. With the takeover, the cooperative believes it can further strengthen its position. Veevoeder van der Steijn, in turn, was looking for a partner who could offer continuity for the customers.
