Due to new legislation, ultra-early maize varieties are gaining popularity. So why is SY Silverbull the ideal variety for grassland after tearing? The variety is very early maturing and is therefore very suitable for sowing on cold, wet soils.

Best quality in the silage for top milk production
With 1019 VEM and 386 grams of starch per kilogram, SY Silverbull is one of the very best POWERCELL varieties. The staygreen ripening (relative sugar content 110) and the very high cell wall digestibility (103) are additional assets for a healthy silage and high intakes by the animal.

Very early and stable in yield
For four years now, SY Silverbull has been achieving very good yields in practice and on the PPO trial fields. With a relative dry matter content of 101 (36,8%), a dry matter yield of 100 (20,1 tons) and a VEM relative yield of 101, the variety has an excellent yield-earliness ratio.
