Mark Schepens has a beautiful dairy farm along the A2 motorway near Maarheeze. He milks 190 dairy cows in a special barn, with a lot of automation and straw in the boxes.
This driven livestock farmer makes conscious choices not only in the stable, but also in his roughage cultivation to extract as much nutritional value as possible from his land. In the video, Mark talks about his company, his working method and his experiences with the Agriculture programme:
