Supplier cooperative Eko-Holland keeps the (advance) milk price stable for the month of January. The company thus deviates from the line that FrieslandCampina and Arla have taken. The BD members are also making significant progress.
The latter receive a milk price of more than €72,00 per 100 kilos for January, which is almost €6,80 more than they received in December. Eko-Holland only has about ten BD suppliers. Since September, their milk price has lagged behind that of organic suppliers, while BD farmers have to incur higher costs per kilo of milk.
The regular organic (advance) milk price remains at €67,05 per 100 kilos ex VAT, for a delivery of 1 million kilos per year. This milk price is between those of FrieslandCampina and Arla, but remains stable.
Arla reduced the organic advance price for January by 60 cents per 100 kilos, FrieslandCampina reduced it by €1,73 per 100 kilos. The starting point is the same standard levels for fat and protein as last year.
