And if something comes along, the seller also knows the price. There is a demand for silage, but if you can't get it, it will quickly stop, according to a trader. The DCA Indicative Price for silage is €85 per tonne.

Good silage maize is more readily available than silage grass, but the trade in silage maize is also quiet. Ask about by-products
The demand for by-products remains good. Due to price movements on the grain market and seasonal shifts in the potato processing industry, various suppliers are making some changes to the prices of potato by-products such as steam peels and pressed fiber. The supply of feed potatoes remains tight and there are considerable differences in the prices charged by traders. The DCA Indicative Price for feed potatoes has taken a step up to €50 per tonne. The DCA Indicative Price of spent grain remains stable at €4,05 per percent dry matter.

The trade in hay and straw continues steadily. It is not really busy, but the regular customers remain at the market. The DCA Indicative Price for wheat and barley straw has remained the same as last week and amounts to €140 per tonne. The DCA Indicative Price for grass seed hay is €145 to €155 per tonne, depending on the variety. For meadow hay the price is €190 per tonne.
