Cono keeps advance equal for sixth time in a row
Cono Kaasmakers keeps the milk price for December the same as for the previous five months. The cooperative thus pays a relatively low advance payment on a monthly basis. On an annual basis, however, the advance price continues to exceed that of market leader FrieslandCampina.

This is evident from the data as recorded in the Boerenbusiness milk price comparator.
For November, Cono pays a basic milk price of €56,21 per 100 kilos. That is the lowest monthly amount in the milk price comparator. However, only one Cono member receives that prize. Almost everyone receives the full milk price, including all allowances. At €60,75 per 100 kilos in December, that price is still the lowest maximum price on a monthly basis.
On average for the whole of 2022, Cono will pay out a basic €51,99 and a maximum of €56,49. that is less than FrieslandCampina does. This pays out €54,63 and €58,83 successively. This does not include subsequent payment. In terms of maximum (advance) milk price, Cono remains above Arla. The other processors pay more.
Cono expects to be able to pay a substantial additional payment for 2022, which will still allow the average milk price to be significantly increased.
