Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has dropped the milk price in January by a few euros compared to December, the company announced. Nevertheless, prices are still well above €60,00 per 100 kilos.
The dairy processor from Nijkerk announces the milk price for January at the same time as the milk price for January. The milk price for December was kept the same as that for November and still applied to the old standard contents of 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein. This price was always announced afterwards.
Price for the whole year €58,64
The new milk price will be published during the month, based on the new standard contents of 4,45% fat and 3,58% protein. The new milk price also lacks the winter bonus. This is redistributed over the entire year. On average for the whole of 2022, Vreugdenhil paid a milk price of €57,14 per 100 kilos excluding VAT and for an annual delivery of 1 million kilos. Including grazing allowance, €58,64 is paid per 100 kilos.
A basic milk price of €60,34 per 100 kilos is paid for January. The maximum milk price, also pasture milk price, is €61,84 per 100 kilos.
An organic milk price for January has not yet been determined. The amount for December has been increased by 36 cents to €69,10 per 100 kilos.
