Dairy retailer Numidia has entered into a strategic partnership with the German DMK for the distribution of instant fat-filled milk powder. This product is made in DMK's factory in Zeven. Numidia markets the powders under the private label names Numigold and Amina.
Numidia, one of the three largest dairy traders in the Netherlands, initially had an agreement with FrieslandCampina for these products, but this came to an end due to the closure of this company's powder towers in Leeuwarden.

When looking for a new partner, Numidia ended up at DMK. That clicked quickly, says Numidia director Han van Hagen. DMK has beautiful installations that can deliver a high-quality product according to Numidia's specifications. DMK has many years of experience in the production of fat-filled milk powder, the dairy cooperative reports.
Fat filled powder is a milk powder in which the milk fat has been replaced by palm oil. This makes it better suited for use in tropical climate zones. It is also often a more affordable alternative to whole milk powder. Numidia has been marketing Numigold since 2018, Amina was launched in 2020.
