A-ware lowers by 5, Cono by a small 2 euros

With the reduction, A-ware is somewhere between FrieslandCampina and Arla on the one hand and DOC Kaas/DMK on the other. Royal A-ware's weighted average milk price (WP) for February is €58,21 per 100 kilos, according to the company itself, while FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price is €56,00 per 100 kilos.

Footprint surcharge
The basic milk price of A-ware is according to Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator to €54,86 per 100 kilos (and €55,36 according to A-ware's calculation, because it includes a Footprint surcharge for all farmers who do not participate in the Albert Heijn program). The 'Better for' milk price (the maximum) is still well above €60 per 100 kilos.  

The organic milk price for February will be reduced by €4 to €64,14 per 100 kilos, and is therefore below that of FrieslandCampina and Arla, the company said. Boerenbusiness Organic milk price comparator .

Reduction in Belgium per 100 liters
In Belgium, A-ware also reduces the milk price for February by €5, but per 100 liters. The February price then amounts to €49,00 per 100 liters at the legal Belgian contents. The price at real contents and an annual delivery of 1,1 million kilos works out to €51,97 per 100 kilos. That is a lower price than Arla and FrieslandCampina pay there. Cono sinks less quickly
Cono Kaasmakers is taking it slower. The company also comes from a lower milk price level. With the now announced reduction, the company presents a basic milk price for January of €54,33 per 100 kilos and a maximum milk price of €58,83. With those prices it remains at the bottom of the market on a monthly basis, but the distance to the other companies is becoming smaller.
