On Peter Noordam's dairy farm (Hellouw, Gelderland), milk quality is at the top of the priority list. To ensure that his 425 dairy cows always have clean and healthy udders, he opted six months ago for an innovative litter with clay minerals in his cubicles. This really works best for us. The cows stay nice and clean, get up easily from the stalls and the somatic cell count has dropped again'', says Noordam.
On an annual basis, the dairy farmer charges around €100 per box for FX minerals. For this he not only has a clean and well-filled cubicle, but also some enrichment of the manure. Product specialist Evert Rozendaal of Berg Fourage explains why: ''The clay minerals help to fix nitrogen and add extra selenium to the manure, among other things. The grass season at Noordam is about to start and I expect that he will soon be able to manage with less fertilizer.''

Sprinkle ready-made mixture
In the video, Noordam shows how easy the ready-to-use mixture with BeddingFX® he and Evert tell more about, among other things, the importance of udder health, the five times more effective pH increase and the homogeneity of the manure.
The eightfold effect of FX minerals
The video shows a ready-to-use mixture of flax alternative-BeddingFX®. Due to the addition of FX minerals, this bedding is not only soft, comfortable and dry in the cubicles, but also has unique properties due to the clay minerals.
For example, the minerals have a nurturing effect on udders and legs, they inhibit bacterial growth more effectively than the most commonly sold chemical agents and they enrich the manure and soil by, among other things, extra nitrogen fixation, a high CEC and extra selenium.
