Eko-Holland remains in the lead after price reduction in May
Organic supplier cooperative Eko-Holland has reduced the milk price for May by a few euros, but nevertheless continues to pay one of the highest milk prices.

The organic milk price for May for this cooperative amounts to €62,05 per 100 kilos with an annual supply of 1 million kilos. For May, a deduction of several euros per 100 kilos will be deducted from this price, but the livestock farmers do not notice this now. Only at the end of the year are all monthly (seasonal) deductions and allowances settled. The milk price for May is €2,00 per 100 kilos lower than that for April. With the price mentioned, Eko-Holland actually has the highest payout for May.

FrieslandCampina is at the bottom, with a difference of almost €10,00. However, FrieslandCampina processes the seasonal deductions directly in the milk price, while Eko-Holland does this afterwards. This makes the difference seem greater than it is.
The biodynamic milk price of Eko-Holland, which struggled to keep up last year, now remains clearly above the regular organic milk price of Eko-Holland and amounts to €67,05 per 100 kilos.
