Milk price falls less sharply in April, except in organic

The average milk price fell slightly less sharply in April than in March. In any case, this applies to conventional milk. the organic milk price fell slightly faster in April than in March.

According to the data in the Boerenbusiness (common) Milk price comparator the average of the seven largest processors in the Netherlands fell by €5,30 to €44,01 per 100 kilos in April, while in March the decrease was €5,46 per 100 kilos. The average meadow milk price in April was €45,48 per 100 kilos.
On average for April, €60,14 was paid per 100 kilos. Eko-Holland was the leader, with an average of almost €4,00 per 100 kilos more.
