The Belgian LDA calls a halt to the series of milk price falls that started in October last year. The cooperative company keeps the milk price for April at the same level as for March.
The company is thus taking the same step as Royal A-ware previously took.
LDA's April milk price remains at a price at legal Belgian contents of €40,00 per 100 liters. At real contents (4,3% fat and 3,5% protein), this is a price of €42,08 per 100 liters, with an annual supply of 1,3 million liters.

On average for April, the five largest processors pay a milk price of €43,21 per 100 liters. See the Boerenbusiness Belgian Milk Price Comparator. The price mentioned is the milk price without grazing allowance. Arla is the best paying for April, with a milk price of €44,80 per 100 liters.
Decreased by 3,26 euros
In March, the average milk price of the five companies in question was still €3,26 per 100 liters higher. Arla also paid the highest milk price then. This is no longer the case for May. Not all prices are known yet for that month, but it is clear that Arla will pay less than FrieslandCampina and A-ware.
