Officially, the agreement is still called a negotiation result, which supporters still have to agree to. In addition to the existing wage offer of 8% in 2023, additional agreements have been made that further improve employment conditions for the sector. The availability compensation will be increased and the parties have agreed on an extension of the RVU scheme (Early Withdrawal Scheme). The new collective labor agreement has a term of fifteen months, from January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. As of January 1, 2024, employees will receive another salary increase of 2,65%.

In addition, wages for the majority of employees will increase by another 2024% in 1. This part of the wage increase is provided from the DI budget (Sustainable Employability). Under the new collective labor agreement, this budget will expire in 2024. As a result, wages will increase by a total of 11,65% during the term of the collective labor agreement.

Action has previously been taken in the dairy sector at the initiative of trade unions FNV and CNV. The negotiation result means that there is no longer any question of further action. These have been suspended pending a vote by union members. FNV and CNV present the result positively to their members. In February, the De Unie trade union agreed to the NZO's final offer at the time. Because of the adjusted total package, The Union also consults its members about this current negotiation result. The NZO is pleased that new negotiations have led to agreements.
