Eko-Holland adjusts milk price slightly downwards in June
Organic supplier cooperative Eko-Holland slightly lowers the advance milk price for June. The biodynamic milk price is also moving along, but everything within reasonable margins.

Both payment prices will be reduced by 50 cents per 100 kilos. The regular organic milk price goes to €61,55 per 100 kilos excluding VAT, the biodynamic milk price goes to €66,55 per 100 kilos, in both cases with an annual supply of 1 million kilos.

Compared to the largest competitors in the market (FrieslandCampina and Arla), Eko-Holland's payment price shows relatively few fluctuations, partly helped by the fact that seasonal deductions and surcharges are only averaged and settled at the end of the year. The cooperative is able to maintain a relatively high price level.
