This is evident from the milk price comparison of the European Dairy Farmers (EDF), which is published monthly published by ZuivelNL. Compared to March, the average milk price in the EDF comparison fell by around €3,60 to €45,32 per 100 kilos of standard milk. FrieslandCampina remained €2,21 below this. In March the difference was still €0,42 per 100 kilos.

At that time, FrieslandCampina paid one of the highest milk prices over the past twelve months. That is still the case, but the picture has changed there too. The German DMK is still in the lead with an average price of €56,19 per 100 kilos, but close behind is the German Hochwald with a twelve-month average of €56,04 per 100 kilos. According to the EDF comparison, Belgian Milcobel paid a milk price of €42,00 per 100 kilos in April and a twelve-month average of €53,28 per 100 kilos.

The comparison includes several companies for most European dairy countries, four companies for France and three for Ireland. However, only one company for the Netherlands (FrieslandCampina) and Belgium (Milcobel). Nothing has been included for Poland.
