Milcobel more competitive with flat milk price
The Belgian dairy cooperative Milcobel keeps the milk price for June at the same level as for May. Given the fragile international dairy market, this is a competitive price, according to Milcobel.

Despite this stabilization, the relative payout price of Milcobel is shifting upwards. The reason is that other companies have now further reduced their prices. For June this is mainly Arla.
In May, Milcobel dropped the price of €40 per 100 liters for the first time. The standard milk price was set at €39,00 per 100 liters, at the legal Belgian contents. According to the cooperative, this price corresponds to a price at real contents and maximum premiums of €43,20 per 100 liters.

In Belgian Milk Price Comparator van Boerenbusiness the Milcobel milk price is €42,09 per 100 litres. This is the price for an annual delivery of 1,3 million liters. The other milk prices are also compared with that delivery volume.
