The current milk price for the new month will be reduced by a total of 85 cents to a basic milk price of €41,90 per 100 kilos. That is 58 cents below the basic milk price of FrieslandCampina. In the previous months, since October, A-ware paid a higher basic milk price.
A-ware is now also slightly lower with regard to the meadow milk price and the maximum achievable milk price. However, at A-ware a larger proportion of dairy farmers can benefit from the maximum milk price than at FrieslandCampina.

A-ware's organic milk price remains the same, while FrieslandCampina increased this price slightly. However, the organic milk price at A-ware is clearly higher than at its competitor from Amersfoort. FrieslandCampina's milk price does include a spring discount.

In Belgium, A-ware has kept the milk price the same for the fourth consecutive month at a level of €42,73 per 100 liters (and with 3,4% fat, 3,5% protein per kilo and an annual delivery of 1,3 million liters). ).

This means that the company will continue to pay the highest milk price in Belgium for the time being, according to the data Boerenbusiness Belgian Milk Price Comparator. However, so far only FrieslandCampina has set a milk price for July in Belgium. The other major processors have not yet announced prices there.
