Vreugdenhil drops milk price for July slightly
Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods drops the usual milk price for July slightly. The powder manufacturer therefore remains at the bottom of the average for June. The organic milk price is kept the same. This price is close to the monthly average for July.

After a reduction of 76 cents per 100 kilos, the basic (conventional) milk price is still slightly above €40 per 100 kilos, at €40,02, according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. This is at the bottom of the average for July and is partly due to the difficult situation on the milk powder market.
A maximum of €41,52 per 100 kilos can be received. These prices apply to an annual supply of 1 million kilos, are exclusive of VAT and apply after deduction of 5 cents per 100 liters for ZuivelNL.
The more than fifty suppliers participating in the CO2 reduction program, which was developed together with Nestlé, receive an additional compensation in addition to the milk price for their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The organic milk price for July is kept the same at €56,88 per 100 kilos, which is a fraction below the monthly average for July.
