Fill in buffer strips along arable land
For completing the eco-scheme, the eco-activities buffer strip with herbs and green fallow can be filled in practically well at many companies. The question is, what am I sowing there? We will go through some options with you.
A buffer strip with herbs along arable land (ecoactivity 17) is 3 to 12 meters wide and must be covered with herbs from 1 June to 1 October. You can fill this in with an agricultural nature mixture such as LG field edge flowery 1 (annual) or flowery 2 (perennial). With these mixtures you opt for maximum flowering and biodiversity.
Another option in buffer strips is the mixture Greencover NKG. A mix of yellow mustard, facelia, sunflowers and flax. This mixture ensures fast ground cover and very long flowering. The mixture can also be used for green fallow. All components are sensitive to frost, making them easy to work with after the winter.
