Eko-Holland keeps price stable in August
Suppliers' cooperative Eko-Holland keeps advance prices stable for August for the third time in a row. This concerns both the prices for organic and biodynamic milk.

The advance price for organic milk remains unchanged at €61,55 per 100 kilos. This price applies to an annual supply of 1 million kilos, excludes VAT and after deduction of contribution for ZuivelNL.
For biodynamic milk, a milk price of €66,55 per 100 kilos applies under the same conditions.
Compared to the other larger parties in organic milk, Eko-Holland pays a relatively high milk price. This is partly due to the fact that the supplier cooperative does not charge a summer levy. Such a levy does exist, but is subsequently offset against the winter surcharge. At FrieslandCampina, surcharges and levies are charged directly.
Compared to last August, Eko-Holland pays out only €1,50 per 100 kilos less. This makes it clear that the organic milk price has remained at a much better level this year than the conventional milk price. This has fallen sharply, resulting in differences of more than €20,00 per 100 kilos.
