Eko-Holland keeps organic milk prices stable again
Organic supplier cooperative Eko-Holland will keep the milk price the same for September. This means that she uses the same price for the fourth month in a row. That price is currently also one of the highest in the Netherlands.

Eko-Holland's advance is in any case higher than that of Arla and FrieslandCampina. The biodynamic milk price also remains the same.
The average organic milk price has fallen over the course of this year. For a while there was also a more than sufficient supply, but according to Eko-Holland, the demand for organic milk is currently higher than the supply. That is one of the reasons why the advance price has now been kept the same.

In some respects, Eko-Holland's organic milk price is not entirely comparable to that of other processors, because the supplier cooperative only settles all surcharges and deductions at the end of the year, including the deductions for milk that is marketed as conventional in the event of oversupply.
