Cheese maker Lactalis Leerdammer will reduce the milk price per September by €1,59 per 100 kilos and, as announced, also scrap the fee for Vlog milk. However, a higher quantity surcharge has been introduced for monthly deliveries of more than 100.000 kilos.
Leerdammer pays a compensation of up to €2,50 per 100 kilos of milk.
The basic milk price for an annual supply of 1,1 million kilos and the Dutch standard contents is according to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator now at €39,59 per 100 kilos.
For this volume, suppliers receive a quantity surcharge of €1,70 per 100 kilos. They then supply more than 83.000 kilos of milk per month. From just under 17.000 kilos more, or an annual delivery of 1,2 million kilos, an 80 cent quantity surcharge will be added.
Leerdammer is abolishing the Vlog premium, but will maintain the grazing allowance of €2 per 100 kilos, as well as a sustainability bonus of €0,60 per 100 kilos.
