Van Drie Group intends to acquire an interest in dairy trader F&F Group from Zeist. The transaction is part of a package deal, in which F&F Group will in turn take over the activities of Schils Food from Van Drie Group.
Both Van Drie and F&F Group think this deal will give them better access to the various sales markets, because both companies can offer a broader product portfolio of dairy raw materials.
The F&F Group includes various companies such as Feed&Food and Fabelco. Schils Food will also soon be included if the competition authorities give the green light for the deal. In 2022, F&F Group reported a net turnover of €168 million, leaving a bottom line of €5,35 million in profit.
Through its sister company Melkweg, Van Drie Group is a fairly large player among Dutch dairy traders and is active worldwide. The intention is that F&F Group will continue to operate under its own flag.
The size of the stake that Van Drie is taking in F&F Group has not been announced. CEO Michiel de Boer of F&F Group speaks of a merger that offers new growth opportunities.
