FrieslandCampina raises guaranteed price
FrieslandCampina is giving a plus to the milk price for the first time this year. The guaranteed price for November will increase based on the expectation that other companies will also increase. Moreover, in the past period, the competition's income was assumed to be too low.

Due to this combination of expected higher payment prices at other dairy companies and underestimation of the income and payment prices of these companies in the previous period, the guaranteed price for November can increase by €1,25 to €42,25 per 100 kilos of milk.
The average guaranteed price for farm milk in 2023 up to and including November amounts to €46,25 per 100 kilos of milk.
According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator FrieslandCampina's basic milk price amounts to €41,47 per 100 kilos. This is the price without surcharges. A maximum milk price of €47,77 per 100 kilos can be achieved, but this is only available to selected participants in the Planet Proof program.
Organic
The organic milk price does not follow the movement of the conventional milk price, but remains stable. The guaranteed price here is €53,75 per 100 kilos. In the Boerenbusiness organic milk price comparator the price is €57,67 per 100 kilos. According to FrieslandCampina, the market demand for organic has not changed and it is expected that the reference companies will keep their organic farm milk prices at the same level.
