The new Recommended Variety Lists of maize

Which corn varieties will provide the highest return on your company in 2024? You see it in CSAR's new Recommended Variety Lists. Within the LG range, LG 31.206 confirms its top figures very early and the varieties LG 31.208, LG Revelation and LG 32.257 have been newly included.

The independently conducted multi-year variety studies at multiple locations in the Netherlands provide a reliable picture of the properties of the maize varieties included. Only varieties that perform as well or better than the list average for three years in a row are included.

The standouts in very early - early
Dutch growers sow maize varieties from the very early - early group on more than 70% of the acreage every year. The best varieties from this group have a yield potential of no less than 22 tons of dry matter, with early flowering and early ripening.

• LG 7005 was newly added to the list last year and confirms its top figures as number 1 in VEM yield in the very early group. Order this variety on time because it's gone = gone
• Newly included: LG 7005 that excels in quality, both agriculturally and in terms of nutritional value, and LG Revelation with the top score for kVEM/ha

The standouts in mid-early and grain
In the south of the country you can achieve slightly more yield with mid-early varieties. The list leader LG Meluseen gets the new one LG 7005 in addition, with an enormous VEM yield. The grain corn contains the precocious one LG Ashley still guarantees harvest security and a good grain yield.
