Like many other dairy companies, Lactalis Leerdammer has also increased its milk price for December.
The dairy producer increases the December milk price by €2,23 to €42,62 per 100 kilos. This has been calculated for an annual supply of 1 million kilos and the standard contents in the Netherlands. Including the maximum bonuses and premiums that can be achieved, the milk price can rise to €44,62.
In Dutch Milk price calculator van Boerenbusiness This puts them in the middle for the time being. A place where they have been standing almost all year round, including last year. Looking at December, FrieslandCampina and A-ware are well above Leerdammer, while Arla and DOC Kaas are lower. The other processors have not yet submitted the change for this month.
Leerdammer does not provide any further explanation of the change, but it can be stated that the increase is the result of the higher dairy prices in recent months. Leerdammer recently also indicated that he was looking for new suppliers.
