The Dutch milk supply fell again in November compared to the same month last year. Milk supply also decreased compared to October. The milk became slightly thicker compared to that month.
As a result, the supply of milk fat increased by 565 tons, or 1,2% compared to November 2022, according to data from the government service RVO. Compared to last November, the supply of milk fat decreased by 1.862 tons, or by 3,7%. The average fat percentage in the milk remained the same at 4,52%.
Milk supply as a whole fell by more than 3,6% in November compared to November last year.
Compared to October this year, milk supplies also continued to decline, but month on month the decline was slightly more moderate at almost 3,6%.
