German dairy producer and trader Fude + Serrahn has achieved significantly higher turnover in 2022, but a lower net profit. The reason for the strong increase in turnover was the enormously rising dairy market prices.
The Hamburg company's turnover increased by 2022% in 32 compared to the previous year to €1.559 million. Gross profit also rose, but much less rapidly, from €40 million to €45 million. Net profit actually fell, dropping from €8,3 million a year earlier to €6,6 million in 2022, according to the recently published annual report.
Fude + Serrahn was 2021% owned by DMK until autumn 50. The German dairy cooperative then reduced its interest in F+S to 10%. The Hamburg dairy trader and producer has seven subsidiaries in which it has an interest of 50% to 100%.
In addition to the dairy trade, the company is also involved in the production of dairy products, including butter, desserts/yogurts and cheese.
