It was another chaotic week for the phosphate trade, with many spikes in prices and traded volumes. Many buyers and sellers are afraid of an intervention in the volume of rights by politicians.

To this end, particular attention will be paid to the debate in the House of Representatives on April 25 on the fertilizer legislation and the subsequent votes.
Due to fears of a possible discount, many parties were in the market this week to quickly purchase a batch of phosphate rights. Prices rose to €62 per kilo, but trade was also done for €57 and less.
The trading of leasing rights is minimal.
