Vreugdenhil gives milk price another boost
The milk price of Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods leveled off in April, but is still going up again this month. This makes the powder producer the only processor that can continue in FrieslandCampina's footsteps.

Vreugdenhil increases the basic milk price by €0,22 to €46,02 per 100 kilos. This has been calculated based on standard Dutch levels and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. Belgian suppliers also receive this award. Including grazing allowance, Vreugdenhil pays €47,52 per 100 kilos in May.

Since February, Vreugdenhil's basic milk price has gained proportionate ground. In a sense, this is striking, given that the milk powder market has performed significantly less well in recent months than the cheese and butter market.

The organic milk price took a step back this month and fell by €0,88 to €57,30 per 100 kilos. This puts Vreugdenhil in the Organic Milk Price Comparator below A-ware, which remained stable in March.
