FrieslandCampina continues to lead the way in milk prices
FrieslandCampina is increasing the guaranteed price for June by another 50 cents per 100 kilos. The organic guaranteed price will increase slightly more. The increase in the guaranteed price is based on the expectation that reference prices will rise due to higher prices for basic dairy products, the company said.

The current guaranteed price for June is €47,75 per 100 kilos, FrieslandCampina reports. According to the Boerenbusiness milk price comparisonr the basic milk price for an annual supply of 1 million kilos then amounts to €46,91 per 100 kilos. This puts the price at the highest level since last spring.
The organic guaranteed price will increase by 75 cents to €57,25 per 100 kilos. This increase is not a direct result of market developments, but is largely the result of corrections over the past period.

Belgium
In Belgium, the latest increase has brought the current milk price to a basic price of €46,57 per 100 liters, as shown by the Belgian milk price comparator. In both countries, FrieslandCampina is now at least €1,50 ahead of the competition in terms of basic price (and on a monthly basis).
