The rising dairy market prices are causing A-ware's milk price to rise sharply. The dairy producer increases both the conventional and organic milk prices by more than €1,00. The milk price in Belgium will also see a significant increase.
The current milk price in the Netherlands will be increased by a total of €1,11 to a basic level of €46,25 per 100 kilos. This is the price excluding VAT, for an annual supply of 1 million kilos and after deduction of 5,5 cents per 100 kilos of contribution for ZuivelNL. The meadow milk price will increase to €47,50 per 100 kilos, the maximum milk price to €53,00. The weighted average price, the WP, goes to €50,21 per 100 kilos.
The organic milk price will also increase by €1,11 to €58,50 per 100 kilos.
In Belgium, the milk price will be increased by €1,06 to €46,13 per 100 liters. This price applies to an annual supply of 1,3 million litres.
In both the Netherlands and Belgium, this is the strongest milk price increase so far this month.
