Leerdammer increases milk price during anniversary celebration
Cheesemaker Lactalis Leerdammer increases the milk price for June and does so with an above-average increase for this month. It is a small bonus for the suppliers, who have been invited on June 7 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Leerdammer brand.

The basic milk price for June increases by 76 cents to €45,86 per 100 kilos due to an increase in both the fat and protein prices. For May, the basic price was €45,10 per 100 kilos. With this prize, Leerdammer takes the lead according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator a provisional middle position, but with the meadow milk price it is relatively strong.
The meadow milk price for June is €47,86, which is currently the second highest milk price for June. The maximum milk price, including 60 cents sustainability premium, amounts to €48,46 per 100 kilos. For extra large volumes, of 100.000 kilos per month or more, the quantity surcharge increases to €2,50 per 100 kilos of milk.
