Vreugdenhil remains at the top in the Milk Price Comparator
Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has further increased the milk price for July. This means that the milk powder producer remains in the lead above FrieslandCampina in the Milk Price Comparator Boerenbusiness.

Dutch suppliers of conventional milk to Vreugdenhil have seen the basic milk price rise this month by €0,23 to €47,36 per 100 kilos. This has been calculated based on the standard Dutch fat and protein contents and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. Including surcharges, the payout price can amount to just under €50. Belgian dairy farmers see a similar increase to €46,85 per 100 kilos.
Head position
In Milk price comparator van Boerenbusiness Vreugdenhil leads the rankings for the second month in a row. The difference with number two, FrieslandCampina, is €0,20. The leading position is striking; in the sense that milk powder has certainly not provided the best valorisation of milk for some time, but is actually one of the weakest products on the dairy market. Butter and cheese are better valuated.
Viewed over a longer period (twelve-month average), Vreugdenhil must give way to FrieslandCampina and A-ware. The organic milk price remained the same in July for the second month in a row at €57,30 per 100 kilos.
